I have a Tom Jones´DVD! That´s great, he´s a little kitsch, but is OK! Big Joe Turner is fantastic, I don´t have this one exactly, but he´s just wonderful!

Bira!...Do you REALLY believe that Tom Jones would have sang Gustav Mahler? or Big Joe Turner the ultrasophisticated songs of Cole Porter?
-Love yah, man!!!

I have listened carefully the Vienna Rhythm Kings... they did not move me so much... nevertheless Alban Berg is a hot cornetist !. Tom Jones is a heavy accented jew singer for the more oriented scandinavian music of Mahler. I prefer the covert art of the Roy Kral & Jackie Cain duets... very sophisticated.

Believe you me..."EL EDITOR" knows what he is talking about because he is not only a good friend but he is also an amazing saxophone player and a well reputed broadcaster from Rosari, Argentina. -Cheers, editor!!...Keep coming this way.

Bira has it bang to rights Oscar...I once had an Atlantic side by Big Joe swingin into a most urbane lyric by Cole Porter.
It went something like this:
"Bin a long time, since I went down to the crawdad hole,(bis)
Last time I was there, I broke my line and my pole.
I used to catch so many minnows. Man, they sure was nice an' sweet,
(bis)
Now the pond's gone dry, can't get no mo' to eat

Sheeer poetry.

Oh, by the way:
Some of us used to believe that Tom Jones was a Welshman. And there are Afro-Americans who'll swear on the bible he's one of them. But I've never heard him called a jew before....But then he did have his nose cut off.
I had better go before I get into any more trouble.

Don't forget, Limbolo, that Jones had a great hit with "Delilah"...Who was the broad who cut the hair of Samson, the champion of the Jews, on behalf of the Philistines, who were the ancestors on the Palestinians....My God!...This is getting very messy!!!
I confess...He didn't sing Mahler...It was an invention, but Big Joe used to sing "Cheek to Cheek" in the shower I've been told.
